Twenty-two year old Mark Adler wakes up from a coma to discover that everyone in town is hiding their faces behind blank, emotionless masks. Masks that they never take off. 

Something has gone horribly wrong, and Mark is determined to find answers. What happened while he was unconscious? Why does everyone wear the masks? What terrors they are trying to hide from? Some things, however, are better left unknown. As Mark searches for the truth, he will come face to face with horrors beyond his imagination, and the future of humanity itself will be threatened.
